6 minute Professional French TwistShow Video Details ↓ [silence] … … … …Pursebuzz: Hey there welcome to pursebuzz dot com. Today I'm going to show you how to do a French twist on your hair, something really simple, really easy and it's great for proms, weddings and all that stuff. So the very first thing I did was I used some hot rollers in my hair to get it kind of wavy on the bottom and just nice and neat. And the next thing that I do is I'm going to take the front part of my hair and, however you want it to look, you're going to start to shape it. So if you want like a little poof right here, then you're going to kind of want to start thinking about that as you gather your hair. [silence] So you're going to start with a little pony tail [silence] … right here at the neath of the neck. [silence] And what you can do if you want the poof stuff is to tease your hair up here. So you're going to take it and you're going to grab it and you're going to twist and you're going to kind of lay it flat on your hair so as you're twisting you're gathering and you're twisting in a certain motion so that it lays flat on your head. Then you're going to take your bobby pin, just like this. What you do is you take it, stick it into that round part, touch your scalp and tuck. [silence] And you're going to really feel it where it's tight and you're going to do a whole bunch of those until you feel really comfortable that it's going to stay. Take it outward and into the twist. [silence] … Again. So I'm only using 3 for the demonstration but you can use a whole bunch more and the trick is, depending on how long your hair is, you'll have to start in a certain section on the back. So if your hair is really long then you can start down here but if your hair is short then you can start up at a higher section so that way you have more hair up here. So there's my French twist. So I'm just going to secure it all in the back. So I'm going to to kind of get some from the top and dig right into the twist. So it's going to go in and over. Then you're going to work on curling the top. So depending on your rollers and your hair and all that, you can do all sorts and sorts of different styles. So today I'm going to do something that's a little different. I'm just going to throw that out, it's bugging me. So I'm going to take these rollers right here that are smooth and I'm going to take my roller. [silence] And what this is going to do, it's going to help me shape my hair up here into something a little round. [silence] … And I'm going to pin it on both sides. [silence] … And do it again, just take it. You can leave it loose, just kind of have it like that. [silence] … So you're going to put this flat on your head and take that other one, again flat on your head. So you can do as many as you want. You can do small ones. [silence] So I'm just kind of shaping that curl so it's almost a perfect round shape. [silence] … You're going to neatly tuck the ends in. [silence] … … So I'm just going to do what I have left here because I don't have a lot of hair so... If you want more hair, again, start with your French twist higher up in the middle of your head. [silence] … So that kind of just helps me guide my hair. [silence] … … … … … … … … … … … … … And that's it. And then you just curl the ends right here or whatever you have, you know, those loose tendrils to make your look very natural, something perfect for prom and weddings, everyday, just a little tiara or some clips. Thanks again for joining me here at pursebuzz dot com. Bye bye. [silence] |
