HouseholdHacker: Friends, today is a dark day indeed. I've decided to play World of Warcraft again. So today I'm going to show you how to play World of Warcraft on your iPod Tough or your iPhone.

Now let's get something straight. You cannot install this game on your iPod or iPhone. You have to install it on a local computer nearby in order to play this. So what we'll need today is an iPod Touch or an iPhone, a wireless network, a PC with World of Warcraft installed and what's called the Mocha VNC app off of iTunes.

Now first we need to install the app to our iPod or iPhone. There is a free version of this and also a paid version which is like 6 bucks. So decide which one you want to get. I recommend trying out the free trial to see if it works well on your iPod and network before you plunk down the $6 investment.

So after install the application to your iPod, follow the instructions on the website and it will ask you to install a program called RealVNC which will act as the server that talks to your iPod or iPhone. Install it and then setup a password and then all that's left is connecting to your server with your iPod Touch.

Something very cool about this method is that you can literally play from anywhere with WiFi enabled. You don't need to be on the same network with your home computer to do this but it's kinda difficult to do so I'm not going to get into it for today's demonstration.

So here I am creating a new character on my iPod. Hmmm, what's a real original name I should use? And Then here is me accepting my very first quest as a level 1 paladin. You will see that this game runs about 3 frames per second, I'm guessing, but it is fast enough to check your mail, to check your auctions, and to chat with friends and to do basic low-level quests.
